Ruane worked at Relationships Australia for 5 years and received specialist training and supervision in the area of relationship resolution. She has worked with a range of clients to successfully resolve a wide range of relationship issues, including:

• Pre marital preparation
• Marital conflicts, including lack of communication, different parenting styles
• Misunderstandings due to different family of origin issues such as roles, rules, responsibilities, expectations
• De Facto problems – just because you’ve lived together successfully in the past doesn’t mean marriage will be plain sailing
• Parent / child / sibling  – every parent knows that the role of children is to try your patience! Siblings understand that they need to argue to gain the attention of their parents.
• Employer / employee conflict / bullying in the workplace, job satisfaction, job progression, career advancement

Proven approach in therapy: The Systemic Model

Ruane implements the the Systemic Model (looking at the system of the relationship) and has found this to be  a very positive tool when dealing with distressing relationship issues.
